Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Cuvee Augustina Katherine Lindsay Estate offers up the most incredible perfume of violets, potpourri, kirsch and raspberry tart with suggestions of forest floor, mossy bark and yeast extract. The 2015 Pinot Noir Cuvée Agustina Katherine Lindsay Estate is another exuberant, racy wine. The relatively high presence of Swan Clone Pinot adds striking aromatic nuance to the expressive red stone fruits. Deep, sensual and inviting, the 2015 is shaping up to be a real jewel of a wine. This shows riper dried-plum essence, ash, creme de cassis and roasted herbs. But there's also blue fruit in the form of freshly picked blackberries and blueberries along with chocolate undertones.
