Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Katherine Lindsay Estate is a little restrained at this youthful stage, revealing glimpses of damp earth, moss and fungi notes over a core of cranberries and pomegranate, plus a touches of chocolate box and lavender. The full-bodied palate is full-on concentrated with tons of earth and layers of red berry flavors framed by firm, ripe tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown
The 2015 Pinot Noir Katherine Lindsay Estate offers notable depth and density in a powerful, immediate style. One of the racier wines in the range, the 2015 is quite giving from the outset. A host of dark red and purplish stone fruits, wild flowers, licorice and menthol infuse this deeply expressive, boisterous Pinot. This is a striking wine from Paul Hobbs. - Antonio Galloni
This shows riper dried-plum essence, ash, creme de cassis and roasted herbs. But there's also blue fruit in the form of freshly picked blackberries and blueberries along with chocolate undertones. Full-bodied with ripe tannins, medium to fresh acidity and a long, structured finish. Bold style but in check. Drink in 2021.-James Suckling
