The 2022 Château Pibran might be the finest vintage I've tasted. Based on 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, it has a wonderfully pure nose of cassis and assorted blue fruits, lots of tobacco, crushed stone, and graphite nuances, medium to full body, ripe tannins, and a beautiful sense of freshness and purity that keeps this ripe, concentrated beauty balanced and light on its feet.
