The 2019 Ried Pfaffenberg Alte Reben Riesling is clear, elegant and intense on the nose, with crunchy flinty notes, lemon oil and ripe stone fruit aromas. Full-bodied, lush and intense, with rich and ripe fruit yet also finesse and mineral vitality, this is a complex and stimulatingly salty Pfaffenberg that was bottled with 13% alcohol in spring this year.
