This comes from the lower part of the vineyard, just above Genevrières.Pale colour with a light green streak. This has more substance and a touch of oak showing. Holds up really well after tasting the Chassagne and Puligny 1ers crus, it has more body yet also refinement, glossy white fruit, covering the acidity. Tasting note: Here the nose is quite pure with its array of pear liqueur, tangerine, hazelnut and acacia blossom. The generously proportioned, round and seductively textured medium weight flavors exude evident minerality on the youthfully austere, long and balanced finale.
