3 plots, one on top with 22 year old vines, and two older plots in the middle. A little fuller in colour and softer on the nose, predominantly white fruit, with an additional kick of energy. Nicely fleshed out, a little liquorice, very complex aftertaste with great length. Tasted: October 2019 Jasper Morris – Inside Burgundy

Tasting note: Here the SO2 is quite strong, indeed so much so that it overshadows the underlying fruit. Otherwise there is excellent punch to the beautifully precise and mineral-driven flavors that deliver fine length and complexity on the balanced lemon-tinged finale.
