The 2015 Nuits Saint George's 1er Cru Les Cailles, which tends to produce low yields, has a rich but much more composed and detailed bouquet compared to the Pruliers this year. The palate is medium-bodied with candied orange peel and brown spices infusing the red berry fruit, fine tannins with a vivacious, lightly spiced finish with great length. This has swagger, sophistication and is just plain delicious - one of Bertrand's favorite wines this vintage and one of mine too. NM - The Wine Advocate
An elegant and attractively complex nose combines notes of plum, anise, sandalwood, warm earth and various wild dark berries. There is first-rate density to the focused and unusually powerful flavors that deliver simply huge length on the impeccably well-balanced finale. As it virtually always is chez Chevillon, this is a very classy effort. If you can find it, buy it. Allen Meadows – Burghound – Sweet Spot – Outstanding
The 2015 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Cailles 1er Cru has a lovely bouquet, slightly herbal at first but then the intensity of fruit kicks in after five minutes. The palate has very fine structure, quite "strict" tannin with a tightly wound but very pure and sustained finish. Tons of potential but it needs a lot of time. Tasted at the domaine. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media
