Tasting note: Very deep ruby if not opaque. A very ripe but not roasted nose speaks of poached plum and plenty of soil tones. The opulently rich and moderately concentrated medium-bodied flavors display evident power on the lingering if distinctly warm finale that is quite firm without actually being grippy. I would recommend allowing this at least 5 to 7 years and then serving it on the cooler side.--Allen Meadows Burghound
