From a terrific site on Pritchard Hill, the 2021 Zinfandel Stagecoach Vineyard is deeper hued and has a more substantial, structured style in its darker red and blue fruits, peppery herbs, violets, and orange blossom aromatics. I love its purity, it's medium-bodied, has fine tannins, and great finish. This is one smoking good Zinfandel.-Jeb Dunnuck
Blackberries and black cherries light up the aroma of this bold, flavorful wine before identical, focused black fruits hit the palate with good concentration and depth. Moderate tannins and a full body form an appetizing structure for this dramatic wine. Best through 2030. — Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast
Medium garnet-purple in color, the 2021 Stagecoach Vineyard Zinfandel races out with eager-to-please notes of plum preserves, black raspberries, and kirsch plus nuances of Indian spices and potpourri. The full-bodied palate delivers lightly chewy tannins and a lively line to frame the vibrant black and red berry layers, finishing with a spicy lift.-Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Independent
Crushed berries, plum skins, dried herbs and hints of coffee liqueur on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied and juicy with vivid acidity and powdery tannins. Succulent finish.-James Suckling
Deep purple. Layered blood-orange-rind and blackberry jam, with a dash of raspberry vinegar adding a pleasant lift. Mouth-watering acidity contrasted by chewy tannins and dense fruit on the palate. This wine is much weightier than the other Zins in the portfolio. Likely better with more time to integrate acid and tannins.-Samantha Cole-Johnson, JancisRobinson
