Bright, medium dense garnet red. Finely marked nose with notes of rose petals, some cinchona bark, then crunchy cherry, some saffron in the background. Shows clearly carved out fruit on the palate, plum and some raspberry, opens with plenty of juiciness, finely meshed, dense tannin, flows quietly.-Falstaff
