The 2020 Nebbiolo d'Alba Valmaggiore is gorgeous. Crushed red berry, spice, leather, mint and rose petal all grace this exquisite, silky Valmaggiore. Sparkling, bright cherry red. A bit closed and shy on the nose, only tentatively revealing nuances of red currants and some raspberries. On the palate with a delicately creamy entry, juicy tannins and a clear fruit core, it runs through, with a clean and slightly salty finish.-Falstaff

This wine offers aromas driven by red fruits, wild herbs, compact soil and dried flowers. Cranberry and cherry flavors fill the mouth, with dustings of crushed limestone and dried herbs.
