Note: from a .36 ha holding
Tasting note: A relatively restrained nose timidly reveals a pretty and cool mix of various citrus, iodine, shellfish and white peach. The plump but intense and beautifully stony middle weight flavors possess a more refined texture though much less power and muscle on the graceful, lemony and very dry finale. This lovely effort should drink well after only a year or two of bottle age. Sweet Spot - Outstanding - Allen Meadows - Burghound
Another success is the 2019 Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural wine that reveals notes of ripe citrus fruit, buttered pasty, pear and oyster shell. Lively and complete, it's matured entirely in tank.—William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
