The 2020 Zinfandel Turley Estate is one of the richer wines in this vintage. Yields were down a punishing 50%. Succulent red cherry fruit, spice, tobacco, cedar, dried flowers, leather and licorice are front and center. This racy, exuberant Zinfandel packs quite a punch. - AG, Vinous Media

This vineyard is special to Turley Cellars; right in their backyard, it’s what they see every day at work (and from the family home!). They have slowly and steadily planted additional head-trained dry-farmed Zinfandel vines to complement the original planting from the mid-1990s, and the entire property is certified organic. Taking a page from their beloved old vine vineyards, they’ve also planted several of the varieties most commonly interplanted in old Zinfandel vineyards, including Carignane, Trousseau, and Cinsault.
