A deep, flavorful wine, the 2019 Zinfandel Dusi Vineyard is packed with black cherry, plum, spice, tobacco, leather and menthol. This deep, flavorful wine is classic Paso in its weight and generosity. The 2019 is such a crowd pleaser.-- Antonio Galloni
The 2019 Zinfandel Dusi Vineyard, medium ruby-purple in color, offers bright red cherry perfume with notes of tar, potpourri and aniseed. Medium-bodied, the palate is soft and grainy with loads of juicy acidity, bright fruit character and a long, uplifted finish. 1,700 cases produced. Erin Brooks – The Wine Advocate
Jewel ruby colour, pale and glinting. Expressive and intense aromas of red, black and blue fruit – a true Zinfandel cornucopia, heady with rose petal, incense, raspberry cane and gingerbread. The palate is broad, creamy, all-encompassing, massive. Beautiful compote fruit flavours marry with coffee oak notes. Dark, smooth, viscous and moreish, this is a truly serious wine. It's whopping nearly 16% alcohol is checked, perhaps surprisingly, by the sheer fruit content and retained acidity which ensures freshness amid the intensity. I'd open and enjoy it now and over the next decade. It may have the structure to hold but there’s something intensely engaging about the wine right now, in its full, youthful throttle.
