The 2019 Zinfandel Steacy Ranch is a rich, exuberant wine with huge fruit presence and tons of varietal character. The Steacy tastes like a wine with elevated alcohol, but it is actually the lowest alcohol Zinfandel in the range, a reminder of how perception and reality aren't always the same. The 2019 Zinfandel Steacy Ranch has a medium ruby color and opens with a touch of tarry reduction over a core of wild berry preserves and earth. Medium-bodied, the palate features dark, earth-laced fruits with a grainy frame and uplifted finish. Give it another year or two in bottle or a long decant. 1,070 cases produced.
