A very rich, classy wine with vanilla-dusted, crisp red fruits on the palate and great finesse on its long, seductive finish. This vintage will compete with the 1961 as the best rosé that Veuve Clicquot has produced since the legendary 1959; it won the much coveted Vintage Rosé Champagne Trophy at this year’s Decanter World Wine Awards. - 19 Points, TS, Decanter
(made from roughly two-thirds pinot noir and one-third chardonnay; L122107): Vivid yellow. Aromas of orange, buttered toast and white flowers are lifted by a bright mineral topnote. Rich and expansive on entry, then brighter and more lithe in the middle, offering fresh pear, citrus pith and ginger flavors and a touch of brioche. Closes on a spicy note, with strong thrust and impressive cling. Drinks very nicely right now but has the substance and spine to suggest that patience will be rewarded. - Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media
A vintage Champagne, close to an aperitif in style, showing fine balance, delicate texture and well-knit, bright acidity. Features a pretty palate of raspberry, spiced apple, biscuit, ginger and lemon zest notes. Drink now through 2027. — AN, Wine Spectator
