A deep jeweled ruby hue, the 2021 Pinot Noir Sojeau Vineyard is lush with floral aromas of crushed flowers, raspberry coulis, a hint of blue fruit, and fresh sage. The most full-bodied wine in the range, it’s fleshy with ripe tannins while keeping a stylistic, focused frame and has great length and a mineral slanting edge. Drink 2025-2040.-Audrey Frick, JebDunnuck
Planted on the rocky slope above the iconic Eola Springs Vineyard in 2007, this is a special wine. A beautifully made Pinot Noir from the Sojeau Vineyard that shows elegance that begins in its aromatics and carries through from its flavour profile to its texture. The aromas of cassia bark, soft violets, fresh mint and turned earth lead into a palate of rounded red and black fruits, clove, cola and a strawberry balsamic note. It's wonderful. -Clive Pursehouse, Decanter
Bright, deep and elegant, the 2021 Pinot Noir Sojeau Vineyard is scented of wild berries, mossy bark, cinnamon and shiitake mushroom. The light-bodied palate is silky and mouthwatering with concentrated fruit, a sheen of youthful new oak and a long, spicy finish. The wine gains detail and expression hours and days after the bottle has been opened, so give it several hours in a decanter or a few more years in the bottle.-Erin Brooks, The Wine Advocate
The 2021 Pinot Noir Sojeau Vineyard blossoms with an array of dried violets and sweet lavender complementing wild blueberries. This creates a display of contrasts: saline minerals and sour citrus complicate tart wild berry fruit depths, all enlivened by brisk acidity. Staining and incredibly long, the 2021 leaves the mouth watering for more despite its grippy tannins as rosy inner florals fade. This is spicy to the core. -- Eric Guido, Vinous Media
