This is not quite as aromatically elegant as the Mont'e de Tonnerre but there is every bit as much depth to the green fruit, citrus, quinine and oyster shell suffused nose. There is fine concentration to the powerful, suave and intensely stony flavors that possess superb finishing complexity on the balanced, clean, very dry and energetic finish. As is often the case, this delivers grand cru quality. Allen Meadows, Burghound
The 2011 Chablis Vaulorent is fresher and lighter on its feet than the Fourchaume. Hints of Riesling-inflected petrol, exotic white flowers, tropical fruit and lychee all flesh out in an impeccable, gracious Chablis loaded with personality. Easily one of the highlights among the 2011s from Fevre, the Vaulorent impresses for its subtle, understated personality. There is a lot to admire here. Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
