Y D'Yquem 2022 Case (750MLx6)

Pale yellow, green hints, silver reflections. On the nose, subtle hints of lime blossom, pear and orange, notes of lime zest, a pleasant herbal savouriness and fine botrytis nuances underlaid with notes of vanilla and blanched almonds. Elegant with white Pome fruit, taut and tightly meshed, nuances of pear, finesse-rich acid structure and subtle notes of salt and white almonds on the long, lasting finish. Composed of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Sémillon, the 2022 Y d'Yquem has 6 grams per liter of residual sugar. It skips out of the glass with cheery notions of fresh, crunchy pears, allspice, fennel seed, and lime leaves, leading to touches of lemon drops, chalk dust, and white pepper. The medium-bodied palate has a satiny texture and racy backbone with layers of pear and baking spices flavors, finishing on a lingering chalky note. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Independent

This is a big white with sliced apple, pineapple and lychee fruit. It’s full-bodied and dense with lots of fruit and phenolics on the mid-palate. A roundness and power at the end. From the same plots as Yquem. Harvested August 9. 60% sauvignon blanc and 40% semillon. Drink or hold. - James Suckling
