The 2020 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières opens in the glass with aromas of pear, lemon oil, freshly baked bread and mint. Medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated, it's taut and chalky, with bright acids and a long, saline finish.—William Kelley, The wine Advocate
Tasting note: Firm reduction overshadows the underlying fruit. The palate impression though is both vibrant and very fresh with a bit more size, weight and volume to the middle weight plus flavors that exude a bracing minerality on the powerful, austere and impressively long finale. This is presently very tightly wound and unlike several of the preceding wines, this is going to need at least some patience before it will be reasonably approachable.—Outstanding. Allen Meadows, Burghound
