With its cornucopia of yellow fruit, floral notes and wet-stone character, this is at once fleshy and enormously structured. Nothing opulent or warm about it at all, though. This tiny parcel (1.2ha), planted in 1973, always produces vibrant and energetic wines. The 2019 offers herbs, lemon, peach and mineral aromas, intertwined with some racy and subtle gunflint aromas. The palate is tense, very long, with a fine-grained texture and much freshness.
