Compared to other Zind-Humbrecht Rieslings, Heimbourg seems more spicy. Indeed, the bouquet shows spices and nutmeg aromas with spring flowers, herbs, and lemon touches. The palate is tense and tight, very calcareous, with a chalky texture and a finish both bright and airy. A Riesling with an incredible aromatic persistence and a remarkable freshness, with a slightly tannic or even austere sensation that will smooth out with time in the cellar.
