Tasting note: Once again there is just enough wood to merit pointing out framing the ripe but cool dark berry, plum and dried herb aromas. The much earthier medium-bodied flavors possess excellent intensity and a certain taut muscularity on the youthfully austere, focused and relatively powerful finish.
