Served blind alongside Petrus 1975. At first the wine seemed a bit too old and a bit decayed with a strong rusty nails character but in the glass it actually cleaned up a bit and there was the vestige of old glory. A wine for connoisseurs and fans rather than newcomers.-Jancis Robinson
