Note: Joseph Colin is the son of Marc Colin as well as the former winemaker at his father’s Domaine. He is the younger brother of Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey.
Tasting note: Riper though still quite fresh and bright aromas include those of apple compote, acacia blossom and a suggestion of crushed star anise. There is good volume to the nicely concentrated and fleshy medium weight flavors that possess a sappy mouthfeel that buffers the bone-dry, youthfully austere and balanced finale. Here too a few years of cellar time should prove beneficial.—Allen Meadows, Burghound
Young vines, the first vintage was 2019. Full mid yellow. This joins Les Frionnes the most stylish and floral of the wines to date on the nose. White fruit on the palate a little richer and riper with a softer finish and slightly oaky. Drink from 2024-2026. Tasted: October 2022.—Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
